Pop Up Podcast

A one day course that teaches students how to write, edit, produce and host their very own podcast. We use professional recording equipment and software resulting in a quality end product and the tools and skills needed to continue podcasting. The learning outcomes are mapped to the English syllabus assisting with assignments, confidence and public speaking.

Social Media and Content Creation

This workshop teaches highly desirable and transferable employability skills, in a time where almost everyone needs to have social media and content creation skills. Students are taught how to use social media as a business tool and are taken through the career opportunities in this industry before being able to create their own digital media advertisement. This course incorporates aspects of film, photography, advertising and digital media marketing. It is also complimentary toĀ the Business Studies, Retail Services and Industrial Technology Multimedia subjects. This is a 2 hour workshop ( or can be run over 3 periods) for up to 20 students.

Video Resume Program

A new workshop that helps students prepare for job applications that involve online interviews and video resumes. Students are taught how to write a professionalĀ script for an introductory video and film a piece to camera. We also create a professional title page with a headshot and edit this as a final package. The end product is a one to two minute video that can be used to apply for jobs or can be used as a professional video, that can be shared with prospectiveĀ employers. This workshop is delivered over 4 periods.
